Check Your Handicap from the Comfort of your own Home !!

Thanks to the magic of the Internet you can now look at your handicap records.

If you think your good performance may have led to a handicap reduction or if you simply want to know if you got a “Point One” back you can check this on the Internet.

1. Log onto www.gui.ie
2. Click on Golfnet.
3. You will be asked for your membership number. The eight digits, two groups of four on the back of your smart or GUI card.
4. You will be asked for a password. The first time you sign on, the password is golfnet.
5. You will asked to change the password.
6. Give a new password.
7. You will be asked for an e-mail address.
8. You will now be in the Golfnet site.
9. Click on the handicap details of your handicap.
10. You will have access to any “away” adjustments.
11. Next time you visit the site you will only need your eight digit number plus your new password.


Course Description - Hole by Hole by Paul Rayfus

HOLE No. 1 PAR 3
Good short hole to slightly elevated green.
Bunkers left and right front.

HOLE No. 2 PAR 5 -
Tee shot must be positioned accurately in order to negotiate a fine dividing line between death and glory on the second shot. Bunkers left and right of green.

HOLE No. 3 PAR 5
Good Tee shot sets up the hole. Green long with big tier. Beautiful hole.

HOLE No. 4 PAR 4
Short par 4. Keep left to avoid drain on righthand side of fairway. Birdie chance.

HOLE No. 5 PAR 4
Nicest hole on the course. Two good shots required. Bunker right front to long green.

HOLE No. 6 PAR 4
Big hitters beware of cross bunkers. Second shot to narrow entrance to well protected green. Bunkers left front and right side.

HOLE No. 7 PAR 3
All the trouble to the front so club selection very important.

HOLE No. 8 PAR 4
Good tee shot sets up the pitch to small well guarded green.

HOLE No. 9 PAR 5
Straight tee shot required. Degree of difficulty depends on the prevailing wind.

 
  HOLE No. 10 PAR 4
Iron for safety. Definite pick up hole.

HOLE No. 11 PAR 4
Danger lurks right and left off the tee.

HOLE No. 12 PAR 3
Long short hole. Depending on the wind, it could be anything.

HOLE No. 13 PAR 4
Unlucky for some. Sharp dogleg right. Par a good score.

HOLE No. 14 PAR 4
Lay-up shot with pitch to large elevated green.

HOLE No. 15 PAR 4
Keep left off the tee. Last pick up hole.

HOLE No. 16 PAR 4
Two full shots required. Second shot deceptive you cannot see the bottom of the flag.

HOLE No. 17 PAR 4
Hardest hole on the course stroke index 1. You'll see why.

HOLE No. 18 PAR 5
Nearly home and if you're scoring well, 5 is a good finish at the last. Before you start, Two words of advice "Loosen Up"
